The Adolescent and Young Adult (AYA) program, located in Mission, KS, is dedicated to providing comprehensive support and specialized treatment for patients aged 13 to 21 who are battling cancer or blood disorders. Our compassionate team consists of physicians, nurses, social workers, and child life specialists who collaborate to address the unique needs of our young patients and their families. From nutritional planning and fertility counseling to emotional support and care coordination, we are committed to enhancing the quality of life for adolescents and young adults during their treatment journey. As our patients transition to adult care, we ensure seamless support by working closely with adult Hematology/Oncology providers. At AYA, every member of our program is devoted to listening and responding to patient feedback, fostering an environment that prioritizes healing and holistic care.
