The Commodity Supplemental Food Program (CSFP) serves the needs of low-income individuals aged 60 and older in Saint Marys, KS, and the surrounding 53-county area by providing essential monthly food packages. Each package includes ten vital food groups such as cheese, shelf-stable milk, nonfat dry milk, peanut butter or dry beans, cereal, meat, vegetables, fruits, juice, and instant potatoes, rice, or pasta. Our mission is to alleviate hunger among seniors by ensuring they have access to nutritious food options that support their health and well-being. To apply for a CSFP food package, individuals can reach out to the local administering organization in their county, which can facilitate the application process through mail or provide an electronic application for printing and submission.
