Meals on Wheels of Eastern Kansas is dedicated to supporting seniors and homebound individuals in Topeka and the surrounding Shawnee, Jefferson, and Douglas counties by providing essential food assistance through daily meal deliveries. Our service is designed to help clients maintain their independence at home, reduce hospital visits, manage chronic health issues, and ensure their well-being. We deliver hot, nutritious meals directly to our participants, with a special focus on those over 60 who can enjoy meals at a reduced rate of $4.00. For those under 60, meals are available at a reduced cost of $5.50. Additionally, thanks to the Older Americans Act fund, homebound individuals over 60 may receive meals at no cost, simply contributing through our donation program to help support our mission. We strive to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those we serve, one meal at a time.
