The Emergency Food Assistance Program (TEFAP) is dedicated to alleviating food insecurity in Wichita, KS, and throughout Kansas by providing complimentary USDA commodity foods to low-income households. With shipments delivered five to six times a year to local organizations, TEFAP ensures that families receive essential nutrition through a diverse selection of canned vegetables, fruit, juice, meat, cereal, peanut butter, nonfat dry milk, and pasta. Each household can receive between four and ten food items per delivery, making a tangible difference in the lives of those in need.
