MOVE! Weight Management Program, located in Abbeville, LA, is dedicated to transforming the health and well-being of Veterans through comprehensive weight management and health promotion services. Our mission is to screen every Veteran receiving care at VA facilities for obesity each year, connecting them with tailored weight management solutions that align with their individual needs and preferences. We offer a variety of services including engaging group sessions, convenient telephone lifestyle coaching, and TeleMOVE! for at-home support. For those who prefer a more independent approach, our MOVE! Coach mobile app is available to assist in self-guided weight management. Additionally, we provide access to weight loss medications and bariatric surgery for Veterans facing ongoing challenges with weight issues.
