The facility offers 30-90 day residential programs for men and women struggling with substance abuse and co-occurring mental health disorders, with treatment provided by masters-level clinicians. Before admission, all clients undergo a comprehensive assessment, with those requiring detoxification referred to Covington Behavioral to complete that process first. Treatment at Longbranch integrates both 12-step philosophy and SMART recovery methods, employing various therapeutic approaches including the Minnesota Model, dialectical behavior therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, experiential therapy, rational emotive behavior therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, and motivational interviewing. Clients with dual diagnoses receive medication management services and participate in daily one-on-one therapy sessions. The residential program accommodates 32 clients in the Historic Longbranch Hotel, with men and women housed on separate gender-specific floors.
