MOVE! is a dedicated weight management and health promotion program based in Bastrop, LA, specifically designed to enhance the lives of Veterans. Our mission is to ensure that every Veteran receiving care at VA facilities is screened annually for obesity and is referred to the appropriate weight management services tailored to their unique needs. We offer a comprehensive range of treatment options, including group sessions, telephone lifestyle coaching, and TeleMOVE! for in-home support. Veterans can also utilize the MOVE! Coach mobile app for self-directed weight management. For those who find it challenging to achieve their weight goals, we provide access to weight loss medications and bariatric surgery.
