Located in Baton Rouge, LA, the Women, Infants and Children (WIC) Supplemental Food Program is dedicated to fostering the health and nutrition of low-income pregnant women, new mothers, and young children under five. Our mission is to promote healthy food habits by providing nutritious supplemental foods that support essential growth and development. In addition to food assistance, we offer comprehensive nutrition education to enhance overall dietary health, as well as resources and encouragement for successful breastfeeding. We also connect families with other vital health services to ensure a holistic approach to well-being. To receive assistance, individuals can schedule an appointment at our WIC clinic and are encouraged to bring all applicants on the designated date.
