The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Broussard, LA is dedicated to nurturing the next generation of leaders in sustainable food systems. Our program offers comprehensive training and hands-on experience in organic agriculture, empowering Fellows to advocate for a food system that prioritizes social, environmental, and economic justice. By providing tuition-free education, we ensure that access to this transformative Fellowship is available to all. Throughout the six-month residential experience at our campus, Fellows engage in diverse projects including market-style farming, community gardening, and innovative educational initiatives that promote food and ecological literacy. After their fellowship, participants embark on a Community Action Year, collaborating with local non-profit organizations to create lasting impacts, such as supporting farmers markets, enhancing access to healthy food, and mentoring future fellows.
