MOVE! Weight Management Program, located in Broussard, LA, is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans through comprehensive weight management and health promotion services. Our mission is to annually screen every Veteran receiving care at VA facilities for obesity and to connect individuals with tailored weight management solutions. We offer a variety of options to fit the diverse needs and preferences of our participants, including group sessions, telephone lifestyle coaching, and TeleMOVE! for convenient in-home support. Veterans can also utilize the MOVE! Coach mobile app for self-directed weight management. For those facing ongoing challenges, we provide access to weight loss medications and bariatric surgery, ensuring a continuum of care.
