At Operation Family Fund in Chalmette, LA, we are dedicated to providing vital financial assistance to eligible service members and their families through grants that support a wide range of essential needs, including medical care and home purchases. While we strive to help as many families as possible, we currently face a high volume of requests for assistance and, unfortunately, are unable to accept new applications for our waiting list due to a lack of available funding. Each family may receive up to two grants, spaced at least six months apart, contingent upon verification of their service-connected disability rating by a case manager, social worker, or doctor. We remain committed to our mission of supporting those who have served our country, and we are hopeful that with community support, we can continue to meet the needs of our military families in the future.
