The Adolescent and Young Adult Cancer and Survivorship Program in Chalmette, LA, is dedicated to supporting individuals aged 15 to 39 facing the unique challenges of cancer diagnosis and treatment. Recognizing that cancers in this age group often differ biologically from those in younger and older patients, our program addresses specialized medical, psychological, and social needs through a comprehensive range of services. We provide expert care for newly diagnosed patients, those currently undergoing treatment, and cancer survivors, offering pediatric and adult oncology, urology and gynecology support, psychosocial services, nutritional guidance, fitness programs with personal training, and anxiety management, including post-traumatic stress counseling.
