The Living with Type 2 Diabetes Program in Church Point, LA, is dedicated to supporting individuals recently diagnosed with type 2 diabetes by offering a comprehensive, free educational experience over the course of 12 months. Our program is designed to meet participants where they are, providing six informative e-booklets on essential diabetes management topics and a monthly e-newsletter filled with seasonal tips and valuable resources, available in both English and Spanish. Participants are also invited to engage with our community through local events and can opt into our monthly Ask the Experts Q&A series, where they can connect with ADA experts to have their diabetes-related questions answered, explore the vital link between diabetes and heart health, and receive helpful giveaways.
