MOVE! Weight Management Program, located in Church Point, LA, is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of veterans through comprehensive weight management and health promotion services. Our mission is to ensure that every veteran receiving care at VA facilities is screened for obesity, allowing us to refer them to personalized weight management solutions tailored to their unique needs and preferences. We offer a variety of innovative care options, including group sessions, telephone lifestyle coaching, and our TeleMOVE! program, which provides in-home support and clinician contact as necessary. For those who prefer a more independent approach, the MOVE! Coach mobile app is available to assist veterans in managing their weight on their own terms. Additionally, we offer access to weight loss medications and bariatric surgery for veterans who have not achieved their desired progress through our other services.
