Cajun Area Agency on Aging Inc. is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for seniors in Crowley, LA, and the surrounding eight parishes: Acadia, Evangeline, Iberia, Lafayette, St. Landry, St. Martin, St. Mary, and Vermilion. Our mission focuses on providing essential services tailored to the unique needs of the elderly population, including nutritionally balanced congregate and home-delivered meals, protective services, and light housekeeping assistance. We strive to support caregivers through respite services, offer legal assistance, ensure the rights and care of long-term care facility residents through our Ombudsman program, and promote social interaction and well-being with recreational activities. Additionally, we prioritize wellness services to boost mental and physical health, including exercise and nutrition education. Our compassionate team is here to assist seniors with transportation to medical appointments and social events, as well as provide companionship through home visits and check-in calls. Together, we work to create a caring community that uplifts our seniors and promotes their dignity and independence.
