MOVE! Weight Management Program, located in Denham Springs, LA, is dedicated to enhancing the well-being of Veterans through comprehensive weight management and health promotion services. Our mission is to ensure that every Veteran receiving care at VA facilities is screened annually for obesity, with access to a range of tailored treatment options. We offer supportive resources including group sessions, telephone lifestyle coaching, and TeleMOVE! for convenient in-home messaging and clinician interaction. Veterans can also utilize the MOVE! Coach mobile app for independent weight management. Additionally, our program provides options for weight loss medications and bariatric surgery for those who need further assistance.
