Located in Destrehan, LA, the MOVE! Weight Management Program is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans through tailored weight management and health promotion services. Our mission is to ensure that each Veteran receiving care at VA facilities undergoes annual screenings for obesity and is connected to the appropriate weight management resources. We offer a comprehensive range of services, including group sessions, telephone lifestyle coaching, and TeleMOVE!, which provides in-home support and clinician contact as needed. For those who prefer self-directed weight management, the MOVE! Coach mobile app is available. Additionally, we offer weight loss medications and bariatric surgery options for Veterans who have struggled despite their efforts.
