Food for Families and Food for Seniors, based in Eunice, LA, is a compassionate initiative by Catholic Charities Archdiocese of New Orleans that aims to support eligible seniors by providing essential food assistance through monthly nutritional food boxes. Each food box is thoughtfully packed with nutritious items, including canned meats, a variety of fruits and vegetables, breakfast staples, and shelf-stable milk, ensuring that seniors have access to the nourishment they need. In addition to the food support, our program emphasizes the importance of healthy eating through nutrition education, offering valuable information on meal preparation, budgeting, and healthy eating habits. Our mission is to empower seniors to lead healthier lives while alleviating food insecurity in our community. Enrollment is welcoming, and interested individuals are encouraged to complete the Preliminary Certification application form to access these vital resources.
