The Living with Type 2 Diabetes Program in Eunice, LA, is a free initiative designed to support individuals recently diagnosed with type 2 diabetes. Over the course of 12 months, participants engage with informative resources, including six e-booklets tailored to their needs and a monthly e-newsletter filled with practical tips and local event information, available in both English and Spanish. By enrolling, participants also gain access to our monthly Ask the Experts Q&A series, where they can directly connect with American Diabetes Association experts to ask questions, learn about the vital relationship between diabetes and heart health, and receive helpful giveaways. Our mission is to empower those managing diabetes through education and community engagement, fostering a well-informed and healthier lifestyle.
