The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Franklin, LA, is dedicated to empowering the next generation of advocates for an equitable food system that prioritizes social, environmental, and economic justice. Through a six-month immersive experience at the Allegheny Farm Campus, selected Fellows receive comprehensive training in organic food systems, equipping them to teach, mentor, and implement innovative solutions in their communities. The program emphasizes hands-on learning, allowing Fellows to engage in vital activities such as cultivating diversified crops, managing community gardens, enhancing food literacy in schools, and supporting local farmers markets. With no tuition fees, we promote accessibility and inclusivity in our mission to improve access to healthy foods in partnership with regional non-profits. Applications are accepted until March each year, with opportunities running from May to October.
