In Franklin, LA, Food for Families / Food for Seniors, a program of Catholic Charities Archdiocese of New Orleans, is dedicated to supporting eligible seniors through vital food assistance and nutrition education. Each month, we provide well-balanced nutritional food boxes designed to promote healthy eating, which include essentials such as canned meats, fruits, vegetables, breakfast cereals, and shelf-stable dairy options. Alongside the food, we empower our senior community with nutritional knowledge, teaching how to create simple, healthy meals and manage food budgets effectively.
