Families in Transition (FIT) is dedicated to empowering individuals and families in Greenwell Springs, LA, particularly within the Gardere Community and South Baton Rouge, who are facing challenges in achieving self-sufficiency. Our mission is to provide personalized support that encourages growth and stability within a six-month timeframe. We offer a comprehensive range of services including coaching and counseling, tutoring, career planning, job search assistance, and financial planning. In addition, we assist with basic food needs and provide short-term financial assistance focused on essential expenses. We prioritize non-financial assistance whenever possible, fostering a holistic approach to support. Interested individuals can obtain a written application to begin the process, which includes an oral interview to assess eligibility for our programs.
