Based in Haughton, LA, the Backpack Program, an initiative of the Food Bank of Northwest Louisiana, is dedicated to alleviating childhood hunger by providing essential food assistance to chronically hungry children. Each week, we deliver nutritious bags weighing 7 to 10 pounds, filled with practical items such as granola bars, fruit juice, and easy-to-open canned goods, ensuring that every child has access to nourishing meals during weekends and holidays.
