The American Childrens Cancer Benevolence Fund (ACCBF) is dedicated to providing essential financial support to families in Houma, LA, whose children are battling cancer, as well as to survivors within four years of remission. Our Grant Program assists with a range of urgent needs including housing costs, living expenses, utility bills, food, medical treatment, prescriptions, funeral expenses, and transportation to medical appointments. We understand the immense challenges faced by families during these difficult times, which is why we evaluate benevolence requests on a case-by-case basis, ensuring assistance is tailored to each family's unique situation. Approved benevolence grants are awarded directly to service providers, allowing families to focus on what truly matters: the health and well-being of their child.
