Located in Independence, LA, the Women, Infants & Children (WIC) program is dedicated to enhancing the health and nutrition of low-income pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women, as well as their infants and children up to five years old. Through our vital services, we provide nutrition education, supplemental foods, and breastfeeding support, along with essential referrals for health care. Our mission is to empower families with the knowledge and resources they need to foster healthy eating habits and improve their overall well-being.
