Located in Iowa, LA, the Nurse-Family Partnership - Region 5 MIECHV program is dedicated to supporting pregnant women and families with young children through a free, voluntary initiative provided by the Louisiana Department of Health. Our mission is to enhance health and well-being by pairing families with skilled registered nurses or parent educators who offer personalized coaching, education, and guidance directly in the family's home or a location of their choice. We focus on empowering families to achieve their goals through health education, building positive parenting skills, and connecting them with vital community resources. By participating in our program, families can experience improved economic self-sufficiency, early identification of developmental delays, and enhanced child health and development.
