The Backpack Program, part of the Food Bank of Northwest Louisiana, is dedicated to combating childhood hunger in Keithville, LA. We empower chronically hungry children by providing them with a weekly backpack filled with 7 to 10 pounds of nutritious food, including granola bars, fruit juice, and easily accessible canned goods. Our mission is to ensure that these children have the essentials they need for the weekends and holidays, addressing their basic nutritional needs and fostering their well-being. By connecting with families in our community, we strive to alleviate food insecurity and create a brighter future for our children.
