The Ethel Precht Breast Cancer Program in Lake Charles, LA is dedicated to supporting breast cancer survivors in Cameron and Calcasieu Parish through essential financial assistance. Our mission is to alleviate the burden of medical expenses for those recently diagnosed, including costs for necessary treatments, genetic testing, and screening mammograms as prescribed by a physician. We also provide support for purchasing bras, prostheses, wigs, scarves, and lymphedema sleeves, as well as emergency out-of-pocket expenses related to transportation, travel, utilities, and meals. Our program extends assistance to those diagnosed within the last 60 months, with special provisions for seniors over 62 diagnosed five or more years prior.
