Located in Madisonville, LA, the Women, Infants and Children (WIC) Supplemental Food Program is dedicated to fostering healthy food habits among low-income pregnant women, postpartum mothers, and breastfeeding mothers, as well as infants and children up to five years of age. Our mission is to provide vital supplemental foods rich in essential nutrients necessary for healthy growth and development. WIC offers comprehensive nutrition education aimed at enhancing diet and health practices, while also providing valuable information, support, and encouragement for breastfeeding. In addition, we facilitate referrals to other crucial health services, ensuring that families receive the holistic support they need during these critical early years.
