Located in Mandeville, LA, the Selma Schimmel Vital Grant program is dedicated to providing essential financial support for individuals facing significant hardships due to chronic, terminal, or rare conditions, including cancer, Parkinson's, and Huntington's Disease. Our mission is clear: to alleviate some of the burdens these individuals experience by offering targeted assistance with utilities and grocery needs, ensuring they can focus more on their health and wellbeing. While the grant provides funding for either utilities or groceries, we also collaborate with various partner organizations to connect our clients with additional resources and support.
