Food for Families / Food for Seniors, a program of Catholic Charities Archdiocese of New Orleans in Many, LA, is dedicated to supporting eligible seniors by providing essential emergency food assistance. Each month, participants receive a nutritious food box filled with high-quality items such as canned meats, fruits, vegetables, breakfast cereals, and more, all designed to promote a balanced diet. In addition to food distribution, our program focuses on education, offering valuable resources on nutrition, budgeting for groceries, and simple recipes to maximize the use of commodity foods. We believe in empowering our seniors to maintain their health and well-being while stretching their food dollars. To become a part of this vital service, interested individuals can easily complete the Preliminary Certification application form to enroll in the program.
