The Backpack Program in Minden, LA is dedicated to combating childhood hunger by providing essential food assistance to chronically hungry children. Each week, we deliver a carefully packed 7 to 10-pound backpack filled with nutritious items like granola bars, fruit juice, and pop-top canned food, ensuring these kids have meals to rely on during weekends and holidays. Our mission is to meet the basic nutritional needs of vulnerable youth in our community, helping them thrive both in and out of the classroom.
