MOVE! Weight Management Program based in Minden, LA, is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans through a comprehensive weight management and health promotion initiative. Our mission is to annually screen every Veteran receiving care at VA facilities for obesity and connect them to tailored weight management services that meet their unique needs and preferences. We offer various care options, including group sessions, telephone lifestyle coaching, and TeleMOVE!, which allows for in-home messaging and clinician support. For those who prefer a self-managed approach, the MOVE! Coach mobile app is available, along with weight loss medications and bariatric surgery options for Veterans who may not achieve their goals through our primary programs.
