The Breastfeeding Support Group in Natchitoches, LA, is dedicated to fostering a welcoming environment where expectant, new, and experienced mothers can come together, share their experiences, and provide mutual support. Led by La Leche League Leaders, our group meetings focus on key topics such as the benefits of breastfeeding, preparing to bring baby home, overcoming common challenges, and nutrition for both mother and baby. In addition to valuable peer support, we offer nutrition education to empower mothers in their breastfeeding journey. While all in-person meetings are currently suspended due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we encourage mothers to connect with their local leader for alternative support options and resources.
