Parents As Teachers - Region 6 MIECHV, located in Natchitoches, LA, is dedicated to empowering pregnant women and families with young children through a no-cost, voluntary program offered by the Louisiana Department of Health’s Bureau of Family Health. Our mission focuses on enhancing the health and well-being of families by providing tailored support and education. Families receive personalized coaching from registered nurses or trained parent educators who meet them in their homes or preferred locations. Our comprehensive services include health education, positive parenting skill development, and assistance in setting and achieving personal goals, such as returning to education or employment.
