The Women, Infants and Children (WIC) Supplemental Food Program in Patterson, LA, is dedicated to fostering healthy eating habits for low-income women during pregnancy, postpartum, and breastfeeding phases, along with infants and children up to five years old. Our program offers supplemental foods rich in essential nutrients for optimal growth and development, alongside vital nutrition education aimed at enhancing diet and health practices. We provide support and guidance for breastfeeding mothers and facilitate referrals to essential health services. If you are enrolled in Medicaid, SNAP, TANF, LA CHIP, or LA MOMS, you qualify for our services, and caregivers of children under five are also welcome to participate in WIC.
