Through hands-on training and mentorship, our program empowers Fellows to become knowledgeable leaders who promote social, environmental, and economic equity in food production and distribution. We offer comprehensive education in organic farming practices, where participants engage in activities such as growing diverse crops, facilitating educational health sessions, and supporting community gardens. Our Fellows also play a vital role in enhancing food access by developing distribution channels and mentoring future leaders. This immersive journey includes a six-month residency at our campus, followed by a Community Action Year where Fellows apply their skills with regional non-profit organizations. Applications are open until March each year, with the fellowship experience typically running from May to October.
