Food for Families / Food for Seniors provides vital food assistance to seniors in Prairieville, LA, through the Catholic Charities Archdiocese of New Orleans. Our mission is to alleviate hunger and promote healthy eating by delivering monthly nutritional food boxes that contain a variety of essential items, including canned meats, vegetables, fruits, cereals, cheese, and shelf-stable milk. Beyond just food provision, we are dedicated to educating our participants with valuable nutritional information, easy-to-make recipes, and practical tips on budgeting for a healthy diet.
