EarlySteps is dedicated to supporting families in Rayne, LA, with infants and toddlers from birth to three years who may be experiencing developmental delays or have medical conditions that could lead to such delays. We provide a comprehensive range of services tailored to enhance a child's growth in cognitive, motor, vision, hearing, communication, social-emotional, and adaptive development. Our approach emphasizes working in the child’s natural environment—be it at home, in childcare, or other community settings—ensuring families receive the resources they need right where they are. Our services include assistive technology, audiology, health education, medical evaluation, nutritional guidance, occupational therapy, physical therapy, psychological support, service coordination, social work, special instruction, speech-language pathology, translation services, and transportation for attending EarlySteps sessions. Funded by Federal and State Medicaid, we welcome referrals from anyone seeking to empower their child’s development, with the First Steps Referral and Consulting team ready to assist families through the eligibility process.
