Located in Rayne, LA, Food for Families / Food for Seniors, a program of Catholic Charities Archdiocese of New Orleans (CCANO), is dedicated to providing essential food assistance to eligible seniors through our monthly nutritional food boxes. Each box offers a variety of nutritious items including canned meats, vegetables, fruits, cereals, and dairy products, alongside nutrition education that empowers participants with recipes, tips on managing caloric intake, and strategies for maximizing their food budgets. We believe that every senior deserves access to healthy food and the knowledge to make the most of it.
