At Health Services & Women, Infants and Children (WIC) in Slidell, LA, we are dedicated to fostering long-term, trusting relationships with our patients through compassionate care and effective communication. Our comprehensive health services cater to individuals of all ages, from newborns to seniors, ensuring that everyone receives the support they need. Our offerings include family planning, high-risk nutrition counseling, immunizations, and more—adapted on a sliding fee scale based on income. Within our WIC program, we focus on promoting healthy nutritional habits among low-income pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women, as well as infants and children up to five years old. WIC participants receive essential nutritious foods, valuable nutrition education, and encouragement for breastfeeding, along with referrals to additional health services.
