Located in Slidell, LA, the Adolescent and Young Adult Cancer and Survivorship Program is dedicated to providing comprehensive care for patients aged 15 to 39 facing various types of cancer. Recognizing that cancers in this age group often have unique biological characteristics, our program is tailored to meet their distinct medical, psychological, and social needs. We support individuals who are newly diagnosed, currently undergoing treatment, or navigating life after cancer as survivors. Our robust services encompass pediatric oncology, adult oncology, urology for male infertility, gynecology for female infertility, psychosocial oncology, as well as specialized support in anxiety and post-traumatic stress counselling, nutrition, social work, and fitness programs led by personal trainers. Through a compassionate and holistic approach, we strive to empower young adults on their cancer journey and enhance their quality of life during and after treatment.
