Located in Walker, LA, the Women, Infants and Children (WIC) Supplemental Food Program is dedicated to fostering healthy nutrition for low-income pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women, as well as infants and children up to five years old. Our mission is to enhance the well-being of families by providing access to nutrient-rich supplemental foods, personalized nutrition education to promote better dietary choices, and comprehensive breastfeeding support. In addition, WIC offers vital referrals to other essential health services to ensure families have the resources they need for a healthy future.
