The Living with Type 2 Diabetes Program in West Monroe, LA, is dedicated to supporting individuals recently diagnosed with type 2 diabetes through a comprehensive, free, 12-month educational journey. Available in both English and Spanish, this program features six informative e-booklets tailored to guide participants in managing their condition. Each month, enrollees receive a newsletter filled with seasonal tips, resources, and updates about local diabetes-related events. Participants can also engage with the Ask the Experts Q&A series, where they can directly pose their diabetes questions to ADA professionals, gain insight into the connection between diabetes and heart health, and enjoy giveaways designed to help them thrive.
