The Selma Schimmel Vital Grant, located in West Monroe, LA, is dedicated to supporting individuals experiencing financial hardship caused by chronic, terminal, or rare conditions, including cancer and Parkinson’s disease. This vital program offers assistance with essential needs such as utility bills and grocery expenses, ensuring that those in difficult circumstances can maintain their quality of life. While the grant covers either utilities or groceries, our partnership with Vital Options International (VOI) allows us to connect recipients with other resources and support services that may further alleviate their struggles.
