Based in Westlake, LA, the Prader-Willi Syndrome Association (PWSA) is dedicated to offering compassionate assistance to individuals with Prader-Willi syndrome and their families through our comprehensive Family Support program. Our mission is to empower families by providing accurate information, resources, and emotional support during the critical time following a diagnosis. We are here to guide families with essential services including parent mentoring, nutritional education, meal planning, and behavior management. Additionally, PWSA assists with navigating the often complex application and appeal processes for Medicaid, insurance coverage, Supplemental Security Income (SSI), and Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI).
