MOVE! Weight Management Program, located in Westwego, LA, is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans through comprehensive weight management and health promotion services. Our mission is to screen every Veteran receiving care at VA facilities for obesity, ensuring timely referrals to tailored weight management options that prioritize individual needs and preferences. Participants can choose from a variety of services, including engaging group sessions, convenient telephone lifestyle coaching, and TeleMOVE! for support at home. The MOVE! Coach mobile app empowers Veterans to pursue weight management independently, while those facing ongoing challenges can explore medical interventions such as weight loss medications and bariatric surgery.
