Nurse Family Partnership - Region 6B MIECHV, based in Winnfield, LA, is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of pregnant women and families with young children through a no-cost, voluntary program offered by the Louisiana Department of Health’s Bureau of Family Health. Our mission is to empower families by pairing them with experienced registered nurses or parent educators who deliver personalized education and support right in the comfort of their homes or any preferred location. We focus on providing comprehensive health education, coaching in positive parenting skills, and assistance in setting and achieving personal goals, such as returning to school or securing employment. Through our program, families also receive vital connections to community resources and services. By participating, families can experience improved economic self-sufficiency, early identification of developmental delays, and enhanced child health and development, fostering a brighter future for their little ones.
