Located in Winnfield, LA, the MOVE! Weight Management Program is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans through comprehensive weight management and health promotion services. Our mission is to actively screen every Veteran receiving care at VA facilities for obesity and connect them with tailored weight management solutions that address their unique needs and preferences. We offer a range of services, including supportive group sessions, convenient telephone lifestyle coaching, and our innovative TeleMOVE! in-home messaging system to facilitate ongoing communication with clinicians. For those who prefer self-guided approaches, the MOVE! Coach mobile app provides valuable tools for independent weight management. Additionally, we offer weight loss medications and access to bariatric surgery for Veterans facing persistent weight-related challenges.
