Located in Winnfield, Louisiana, the PNH Patient Travel Assistance Fund is dedicated to supporting individuals affected by Paroxysmal Nocturnal Hemoglobinuria (PNH) by providing essential financial assistance for travel to specialist appointments. Each patient is eligible for up to $800 annually to help cover costs associated with reaching PNH specialists, or obtaining second opinions. The assistance can be used for a range of travel-related expenses, including airfare, bus tickets, transportation costs, lodging, meals, and co-pays for medical visits or tests not covered by insurance. Additionally, grantees are welcome to bring one companion to ensure they have the support they need during their journey. Our mission is to alleviate the financial burden of travel so that patients can focus on their health and receive the specialized care they deserve.
